" # rkhunter -c -sk

If you have installed in custom area, don't forget to get to root using

" $ su -

This is a manual scan. I recommend manual scans initially so you can check the command output as well as the log.

If colours on output are a concern, run

" #  rkhunter -c -sk --nocolors
