Removed egrep as a required command, also changed occurrences of egrep to 'grep -E'.

Removed egrep as a required command, also changed occurrences of egrep to 'grep -E'. Added test that '-E' is recognized by the grep command. If a command, or option, is found missing then stop RKH immediately.
