[Rkhunter-users] Rootkit Hunter against slave drive?

Can it be effective to run Rootkit Hunter against a slave drive?  I
pulled out a drive that I suspect has been rootkitted and hooked it up
as a slave to another workstation read-only.  So the compromised OS is
not "live."
