Hi, RivaTV team !
I'm trying to make a debian server + motion using my old PC, and I'm
glad you come up with a driver for my graphic card video input !
But I have some issues with compilation...
First, my PC has the following hardware :
K6-2 333MHz
384 Mo SDRAM
Asus AGP-V3400TNT 16 Mo
I checked on your status page : my card is not exactly listed, but one
seems very close : Asus V3400 TV.
Below is a copy of the lspci for my card.
The server is a fresh install of the latest debian testing (squeeze).
I try to make a surveillance server with it, with motion.
It is used via ssh, so I don't have a windows manager installed.
The graphical driver installed is "nouveau".
videodev, i2c-algo-bit and i2c-core are running (see lsmod output at the
end of the mail).
I installed the headers for my kernel, gcc, build-essential, v4l, a xorg
base...
But I get some errors and warnings during configure :
- about the version of my kernel (I'm using 2.6.32-5-486)
- about a "make dep" to do
RivaTV version : rivatv-0.8.5
My kernel is over the needed one, and "make dep" in the indicated
directory is giving me an error...
Below is a copy of the output of what I tried.
(some of the error messages are in french, sorry about that, and for my
bad english too ^^')
If you have a solution, or some things to try, I'll be glad to beta-test
it !
