Occasionally, connecting will cause a crash. this is very uncommon, but seems to happen most with the downloadable alpha client.
it might be a client side firewall issue.

I'm not sure if this is repeatable, it may have had something to do with the physics related crash, which was a memory problem. it mightve just been a manifestation of that bug. I think I have fixed that one, and if this one occurs again, I will ... notify myself
