need to resolve LOOP IN BELIEF NETWORK problem -- not
sure what is causing this. seems to occur after running
100-1000 inferences, then occurs often although maybe
not every time. is it due to a memory problem or a
synchronization problem?
happens when running Gibbs sampling, so loops can't
really happen (since all variables other than the
current inference target have assigned values).
does the message occur in polytree networks? if so,
then it is clearly spurious.
