Ripe Website Manager is a web CMS which is in development to be really simple to use yet still powerful.

It seems that all content management systems can only be used by web developers with the terminology and difficult to use admin areas. The aim of Ripe is to be able to pass it on to an average web user for them to be able to use it comfortably within minutes.

Ripe website manager 0.8.8 has been released for testing various new additions to the CMS. The menu system has been enhanced to allow multiple submenus. The template system has been modified to only run functions when that tag has been found in the actual template (greatly improves load times).

Yep, Ripe 0.8.7 has now been released and it's not just a couple minor changes either. This version brings two new key features. The first and by far the coolest is the new stats graph. You will not be able to stop yourself from logging to the admin area just to see if your stats graph has changed within the last 10 minutes. Ripe website manager is a brand new website CMS that with high expectations. Built to be used by anybody and not just web designers.

Ripe 0.8.6 is a much needed update with some high security issue fixes including the code injection vulnerability hole in form posts. This version also brings us a brand new feature. You can now rate article comments with a cool little thumbs up/thumbs down piece of AJAX. Minor tweaks to code will ever so slightly improve the speed of Ripe and keep the size of Ripe to a minimum.

A few days ago I posted a couple threads on two different web developer related forums. Namepros and Webmaster talk. In my posts I was asking the members for feedback on Ripe. The response has been great. With replies including phrases such as "awesome " and "very very nice " I couldn 't be more pleased. I have just recently noticed that some security sites have picked up on bit of lazy coding on my half. Recent versions of Ripe does not include water tight form validation which runs the risk of some script being posted into some forms. This could be a bit of a problem because someone could get your website information or deface a Ripe website etc.

Ripe 0.8.5 is now available. It includes some minor changes from the the previous versions including some small bug fixes and a couple changes to the UI requested by interested users. You can make comments about this version at the Ripe site. http://freshervisions.com/ripe

I have just finished a brand new template for Ripe. It's called Breeze. It has been specifically designed to be more of a starting block for anyone creating their own customised template.
