Rio 500 support / News: Recent posts

Its finally here! A *lot* of users have asked for smartmedia support for the Rio 500 utils. We have just released a new version of our utilities which now include support for smartmedia cards. It has been tested with cards up to 64MB. In additon several bugs have been corrected and the 8 folder limit removed. Enjoy it!

GPL'd Linux support for the Rio 500 is now available on both Intel and PPC platforms!

The initial public release of v0.5 of rio500 support is now available at http://download.sourceforge.net/rio500/rio500-v0.5.tgz, released under the GPL.

Rio500 support has coded primarily by Cesar Miquel <miquel@df.uba.ar>, with font bitmap coding and testing done by Bruce Tenison <btenison@dibbs.net> and PPC porting and testing done by Keith Clayton <kclayton@jps.net>.... read more
