#116 in edit section of admin panel, provide cat / blog filter

On the first page of the admin panel, it would be
useful to have a sticky drop-down box.

This drop-down box when set, can ensure than only
entries pertaining to a certain category within a
certain blog show up in the "Recent Posts" column on
the left. Similarly, another drop-down box can allow
one to select posts from another archives table / i.e.
from another blog.

Correspondingly, there should be front-end and back-end
changes made which allow easy creation of another blog
/ archives table by the administrative user. That would
perhaps require another bug tracking id.
