I like very much RhythmBox and its integration with the Gnome Desktop (i.e. Music Panel Applet).
I like also the Small Display mode.
Nevertheless I would really like RB to go a step further in this direction by being able to be a replacement of Totem regarding audio files:
I would like RB to be my default audio file player for Gnome.
The behaviour I would like to have is:
double click on an audio file -> RB launches (if not running) possibly in mini mode with the playing queue filled with the selected file (without adding it to the library maybe) and starts to play it.
double click on an audio file when another file is playing -> RB adds the file to the current playing queue.
I wasn't able to get this behaviour from the current version: I cannot pass a filename to RB from the command-line obtaining this effect.
