Help Wanted!

This project is looking for the following positions to be filled:

PHP/MySQL Developers (we're willing to train up to 100)
Project Managers (2)
Doc Writers (3)

REQUIREMENTS:
1) Communication. You must show a degree of literacy and an ability to communicate effectively in English. While I rather enjoy other languages, English is the language of business in the world, and so is the primary language on which this project will be based.

2) Reliability. This does not mean I require that you give a certain amount of time to me, but rather that if you commit to time you then follow through with it. If you say you'll do something, then do it.

3) Professionalism. You will maintain a degree of professional stance while communicating on the project. Use of "txt-tlk" or other abbreviations as a primary means of communication will not be well-received. We have some people whose primary language is not English working with us, and so clear communication is an absolute must.

4) Honor. This may sound old and outdated, but honor is a simple and effective means of keeping everyone on the same page with what's going on. Say what your meaning is, and mean your words. I mean it!

5) Integrity. This means that you stick to your beliefs. It means that you rely on your values to make judgments, and those judgments support your values. It means that you do not seek to take advantage of others, and that you protect yourself from being taken advantage of.

6) Time. You will require time to write code. It's a law of nature. If you don't have time but you wish to be part of the project anyway, please say so, so that I can at least keep in my notes where to effectively direct the projects.

As a final note, I've been struggling with the CVS for about 6 weeks as of the posting of this message (16 March 2006). I simply don't know Windows that well and have had difficulty with finding a client that I can use effectively. I am considering alternatives to CVS and will post in the "Open Discussion" forums when I have something working.
