Hi! I think the "Pause" button isnt useful. Most of the
time I want to stop playback but the cursor to stay
where it is. Only very seldom I need to rewind to the
beginning, and there already _is_ a button for this.
Maybe Im overlooking some use of the Pause button, but
currently "Stop" is essentially the same as "Pause" and
"Jump to start position" in one.
Furthermore a wave editior _feels_ like a tape machine
to me, which would stay at the current position when I
hit the stop button and it confuses me very much to hit
stop and play and suddenly it plays from the beginning
again.

I would then suggest thinking of the start position as the
position from which you wish to play. Use the 'a' key
(later to be configurable) to play from the start position
to the end, and 's' to stop. The 'a' key is a shortcut to
the right-most upper play button in the play controls.
Another play button you might use is the 'play selection
only' which is just to the left of the aforementioned button.

'1' is seek foward. '3' is seek backward and repeated
pressings of '2' increase the rate that '1' or '3' are
seeking while they're held down. These keys are a shortcut
    to the shuttle wheel.

Most of this is documented in the 'docs' section on this
    webpage.

    Hope this helps.
