Hi all!

In Italy we have a big and fast wireless community network and we use retroshare!

The problem is that on retroshare we can set only a general bandwidth limit but what we need is that retroshare use different bandwidth limit for different network to take advantage of speed of some netowork and not saturate the slower one like internet access

So at moment we can choose to go slow everytime or make our internet access not working :|

What will be very good is that we can specify different bandwidth limit based on subnet/ip-range ( what is easier to implement ? ) so we can set high bandwidth limit for some neworks and low for other an exampl could be:

10.174.0.0/16 up 10000KB/s down 10000KB/s
10.180.0.0/16 up 1000KB/s down 1000KB/s
0.0.0.0/0 up 20KB/s down 100KB/s

I run 3 RS Clients in my 10.0.0.0/24 local net. They Share all the same uplink.
It would be nice to limit uplink for each to 50kb to internet.
But bandwith internally should have no limit at all.

Fantastic product. I too have an issue with one friend hogging all the bandwidth. It would be nice to limit bandwidth per friend and not just the global setting as we now have.
