[Retrocode-news] RetroCode and RetroFID 1.60.1 binaries released for Linux

Good news everyone - RetroCode and RetroFID 1.60.1 for Linux have been
released

Please note that this is a 32bit version, built on a recent Ubuntu system. I
have no idea how and if that behaves on other distributions - let me know!

 

You may have to install depending libraries using your distribution's
installer system (e.g. apt-get). The following shared libraries are needed:

id3 
faad 
faac 
avformat 
avcodec 
avutil 
png 
mad 
gif 
jpeg 
mp3lame 
z

 

A 64bit Version as well as "proper" installer packages for some
distributions (at least debian) will follow in the near future.
