I'd vote for https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/RESTEASY-144. I know there is a workaround by manually setting the content type but still it would be great to have that one fixed. Ok, I'll get that fixed today. Christian Sadilek wrote: > > I'd vote for https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/RESTEASY-144. Resteasy-144 Fixed. I should have done it earlier. Christian Sadilek wrote: > > I'd vote for https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/RESTEASY-144. I checked out the latest version from trunk. It works now for GET, POST and PUT but I am still having problems with DELETE, but maybe I am doing something wrong. I have a method annotated with @DELETE that returns Response.ok().build(). The Client Framework then throws the following exception no matter if there are @Produce or @Consume annotations or not: org.jboss.resteasy.client.ClientResponseFailure: No Content-Type header specified Since DELETE in this case is not returning any response entity, should it be necessary to set a content-type at all? thanks, Christian 2008/11/11 Bill Burke <bb...@re...> > Resteasy-144 Fixed. should mention it works if the return type on the client is Response.Status. So the question is should it also work with Response or ClientResponse<T> as return type in the client interface without manually setting the content type for DELETE, even if there is no response entity at all. It is just convenience. I would rather use ClientResponse<T> for methods in the client interface. Well, HTTP 1.1 says that you are required to send 204, NO_CONTENT, but the ClientFramework still has a bug there even if you do that. I just fixed it.
