[Rest2web-develop] State of the gallery plug-in?

I am looking for a static html gallery generator, and rest2web's gallery
plug-in may work for me.

Before I dive in, is it still actively developed and/or will it continue to
be maintained?  My current gallery generator hasn't been updated in well
over a year, and I am wary of becoming the ONLY person using a piece of
software!
