I have 3 partitions on my NVME SSD:
1. EIF
2. Ubuntu (system)
3. /home
Rescuezilla 2.5 will make a copy of the system (2.) only together with
the EFI partition (1.), it is not possible without the EFI partition.
Rescuezilla 2.4.2 can make a copy of the system (2.) as one partition.
How to do it in Rescuezilla 2.5

It's a bug in Rescuezilla 2.5.
No matter if it's the EFI Partition or not. the backup doesn't start if you don't choose at least 2 Partitions to backup.

When will this be fixed?

I want to test out my Rescuezilla v2.5.1 candidate a little bit more before I release it.
I noticed partclone has had a some recent versions released in past few weeks, including updated support of BTRFS filesystem (to BTRFS v6.8.1, from BTRFS v6.3.3 supported by Rescuezilla v2.5.0). I was considering releasing that with Rescuezilla v2.5.1, but out of conservatism I'll pick up those changes in a subsequent release.

Any news on when a release of 2.5.1 might be expected?

Oh thanks for the reminder -- I forgot I promised to create the 2.5.1 release fixing the bug impacting single partition backup introduced 2.5.0 that I had already fixed above.
There's a long weekend coming up in early September (that I think I'll be able to take), so I will try and get it released by then. Hopefully sooner though.

Yep sorry, this is a bug in Rescuezilla v2.5.0 GitHub #482.
I have the next 4 days free. My aim is to get v2.5.1 out the end of the week with this annoying bug fixed.
OK, I have fixed the bug (it was very simple).
