The problem was created by Ubuntu which has since released a patch. When will Rescuezilla release a version using the version of Ubuntu with a valid bootloader certificate?

I've updated the build environment (in Rescuezilla that's where the boot files come from), but I need to validate that solves the issue (with Rufus + ideally I need to find a machine that has this issue to reproduce)

@Rescuezilla,
Thank you for the reply! I would be glad to beta test the build if that would move the ball forward. I can confirm that the problem is reproducible on my dual boot Windows 10/Linux Mint machine.

As an afterthought, I believe the issue occurs on a machine with Windows installed and with Secure Boot enabled. On some systems, disabling secure boot is not a simple switch in the UEFI BIOS setup but also may require clearing the secure boot keys.

My job asked me to work this weekend on short notice to assist with a very important deadline, so unfortunately I'm pushing back the release of the next version of Rescuezilla back by a week.

Thanks for the update! I am waiting to backup my system in order to upgrade Linux Mint. Please post here when it is ready to go. I will be happy to make a generous donation! Thanks for all your efforts from which so many of us benefit.

Thanks for the bump.
I'll try and get a new release tested and released within the next week.
