How long does it take to copy to usb then what's the next step when it copied

OK it copied to usb when I restart laptop hp g71-340us I immediatelypress F12 usb flashes it laptop starts loading flashes again but I get to desktop home screen. S please help

It sounds like you successfully created a Rescuezilla bootable USB stick with balenaEtcher by writing the ISO image to the USB stick. Great!
Then when booting your laptop repeatedly press eg, F9, F10 or F12 to reach the boot menu. Potentially F2. (it varies by manufacturer). Also you may need to hold the F-lock button near the CTRL key on some laptops for the F-buttons to work.
This should allow you to boot into Rescuezilla and select a language.
But be very careful when using Rescuezilla and the tools it includes, including GParted partition editor.
It contains powerful tools which can therefore be dangerous and should only be used very carefully.
