For any Windows system with secure boot enabled, including dual boot setups, Rescuezilla's LiveUSB will not load. The underlying Ubuntu release has a revoked bootloader certificate. When will Rescuezilla release a build with the new Utuntu release which has fixed this problem? Rescuezilla is usually more responsive to a widespread issue like this.

According to Ubuntu, they issued a release without this issue at the end of August, 4 months ago! They write:

Mitigating the impact of this change requires shipping Ubuntu releases with updated shim 15.8. This effort is underway, and Canonical will make available updated install media (ISOs) for Ubuntu 24.04 LTS (Noble Numbat) as part of the .1 release on August 29th. The upcoming Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS release will also include the same updates.

This will ensure that both Ubuntu 24.04 LTS and 22.04 LTS will be installable on systems affected by the Windows update.
