I would expect even a failed restore to at least get to the GRUB bootloader menu or perhaps the sytemd emergency recovery mode.
Displaying 'no OS' makes me slightly suspicious perhaps your operating system bootloader on this second server happens to be not selecting the correct disk. Or another BIOS configuration issue.
When booting in Rescuezilla do the partitions look healthy when viewed using GParted or the file manager?

Is a backup server, to test rescuezilla I installed ClearOS and perform a backup to a USB drive. then I delete the installation and try to restore it from the backup. I have SDA1 to SDA3 on the drive but I get the error of no OS.

The LSI 9260 8i card was defective on the new backup server. I replace it and restored the main server to the backup server. Took 2 hours to backup and 1.5 hours to restore.

I built a second server and when I restore the backup the system does not boot up with a message of no OS.
The server has RAID 1 using LSI 9260-8i controller
