If I plan to backup my root partition, should I also back up my ESP (Bootloader) partition as well? If so, should I back it up as a single img (boot+root) or two separate imgs (boot, root)? What are the pros and cons of this? What if it was a dual boot system, like two linux OSes?

I'm considering to backup 2 individual imgs (boot, root) for each OS or a total of 4 imgs (2boot, 2root) on a dual boot. All will be from the same drive and will be stored in a different partition of the same drive as well.

During a single img restore, do I have an option to restore either one of the partition or both will be restored?

During the two separate img restores, ideally, which should be restore first and which second, given it is complete system restore?

Does restoring the ESP (Bootloader) partition affect the EFI BIOS in anyway? Is safe to better disable Secure Boot entirely?
