I just built a copy on a 4.10-RELEASE system. I can't imagine there'd be anything that different in 4.11 to upset REQADM's build. You might want to start by making sure your source tarball isn't corrupt or truncated, or that something didn't interrupt the configure script somehow. > Also is it possible to build client for Windows 2000/XP systems? We did manage to get xreqadm to build on Windows 2000, and it worked reasonably well, but never really finished that off in a production-worthy level before the project ended and transitioned to an Open-Source endeavor. At this point, we're working on our plans for the 2.0 release, which will significantly change how the clients and servers will function, so we haven't gone back to complete the old 1.3 client port to Windows, but plan to have the 2.0 version work with Windows. If you want to take it on yourself, it's not all that complicated to do, if you can just set up the Tcl/Tk libraries on your Windows system and compile it all up. The main problem we had was that in the 1.3 version we use ET (Embedded Tk) to preprocess the Tcl GUI code into C, and this makes source lines too long for Microsoft's C compiler to accept. So you will probably want to use GCC or something. > And final question: maybe you have new version? Or CVS access? We're regrouping a bit after not having a chance to work on REQADM much last year. I was just talking to my co-developer and we're gearing up to plan out the 2.0 release, and we'll make details of that available on the sourceforge site when we have our plans worked out in more detail. -- Steve Willoughby | "It is our choices... that show what we truly <st...@al...> | are, far more than our abilities." | --Albus Dumbledore, in Harry Potter and the | Chamber of Secrets, by J.
