#1 Can I run RepRap on Mac OSX?

Hello,

I'm a mechanical engineer interested in building my own Mendel. I would buy the electronics and motors already done, and then assemble the mechanical parts myself - no problem. What concerns me is the software portion, because I'm NOT software-savvy and have never run open-source software because of the intimidation factor. Can anyone tell me the easiest way to run RepRap on Mac OSX - if at all possible? If that's not possible, could I run it on Windows XP (32) running on Parallels on my Mac?
