This entry is meant to track a feature request for the RepRap host software. At some point if no one else grabs it I may tackle it myself, or someone else can grab it without any hard feelings at all.
I suggest we have a few more options relating to homing. It would be great to be able to:
1) ...opt for no homing at all (would be useful if opto endstops were broken, or for testing)
2) ...specify that an extra home (x&y) should be introduced after purging the extruder in the dump area
3) ...specify that one home (x&y) should happen after each item of a multi-piece RFO file.. That way if something happens during one piece, the rest of the plate isn't ruined.
Actually, #2 shouldn't even be an option - it should just be added. Every other layer gets homed at the beginning, except the first one (because the homing happened before the dump). Quite often that has resulted in skewed first layers for me, and I always add extra homes to the gcode by hand.
