If you are printing not one parts but 94 it is at the very least a simple and effective improvement
that help people get mendel parts out there and helps usability of the project.
A less experienced user, now knowing about the teardrops, may not even know the best orientation
for some of the more "square" parts.
Because usability IS important.

Good point. If you upload a zip/tgz of the aoi and stl files with the attached file button, I will certainly do the replacement.
