+The app will allow functionality similar to a normal audio sequencer, such as recording, editing, mixing, etc. The user will then be able to 'bounce' this to a podcast friendly audio file (e.g m4a or similar compressed format). The app will also include functionality to allow the user to create the RSS feed for the podcast, and then publish this and the audio to a server.

+Whilst there is a wide range of podcasting software available, the majority only deals with part of the podcasting workflow. For example, existing software will only deal with creating suitable audio files, or the publishing aspect of the workflow. This can be a hurdle for the inexperienced user. Few will have a sound knowledge of the workflow necessary to create a podcast, and the need for several different applications can prove confusing and become a barrier to people wanting to publish their own content.
