Version 1.0.4 solved the reported problem. I got a big step forward. Thank's for that.
But found 3 new problemes to get it working with yii.
1) Link to the documentation points to a directory 'doc' below the current directory (not important).
2) Trying to generate a new project returns the following message: Notice: Projects area does not exist - cannot write project at line 53 in D:\WebRoot\hgp\protected\extensions\reportico\reportico.php(2883) : eval()'d code. This results in a missing connoction to the db when running reports.
3) The layout of "design a report looks very strange. The CSS file(s) are not used. That's fine for the project menu, but not here.

Ive just uploaded a version 1.0.5 that should get over your first 2 problems above.
The CSS thing is strange because the layout does seem to work in my yii application using the CSS in extensions\reportico\stylesheet\coolandlight.css. It looks best in Firefox but Internet Explorer 7 is not too bad except there is a lot of text in italics which Ill try to fix. If its not using your CSS then I guess you are seeing a lot of grey buttons when in design mode? There is only one CSS file.
Are you able to view the HTML source and let me know if you see something like :-

in the report body?
If you do see this does it look like its in a sensible place?
What browser are you using and are you able to point it at the stylesheet using a URL ending in extensions\stylesheet\coolandlight.css?
Hi, thanks for offering a new version. Unfortunately this shows no difference to the previours one. Still getting the same error message.
To solve problem #1 I assume that I've to use assests or to move the documentation files in a unprotected folder. Currently the following url is created: http://localhost/hgp/index.php/konto/protected/extensions/reportico/doc/li_reportico.html. This has no priority for me because I want to prepare the reports so that users can just run them (with some criteria to be selected).
I also checked the html source. The lines with link and href are included. The source has one body statement, but this is the one generated by yii and not this one <BODY class="swMntBody">.
I tried this running a htaccess file in the hgp folder with 'deny from all' as well as 'allow from all'. There is also no difference.
Maybe you can send me an example showing what exactly you've done to make reportico running well within yii.

Hi, I've just seen version 1.0.6. Next big step forward. Creating projects and executing queries is now working. Html and csv output is working well.
But PDF output fails. Probably again a problem with linking directories. Error message:
FPDF error: Could not include font metric file

Thants great news Gunter, I was just about to email you about this. I'll try to sort the PDF issue.
Its also good news because its now got me learning yii!!
Please dont hesitate to ask if you have any suggestions or problems doing anything in Reportico as many things are possible but its not always obvious how to do them.
