Hi, I just stumbled across this project from a link from the sysop's corner website.
I used to run a dialup Renegade BBS, and RG was my favorite package. However, I am now looking at setting up a telnet BBS and am using Mystic. From what I see, Mystic, Synchronet, and EleBBS are all being mostly actively developed and offer pretty much everything one would expect from Renegade.
This website also said that people still use Renegade. Is there anyone still running a BBS with Renegade?
Mark
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
there is a linux port of sbbs.
people can use the old renegade for a telnet bbs, using Synchronet, and executing renegade 'already connected' as a door.

Wow... blast from the past here. I use to run RG back in the day. I'd run a telnet bbs if there was something unix based.

So if there are so many people _interested_ in resurrecting Renegade, why is there so little activity actually going on?
Who's working on the code?
What's the latest news?
Where's the progress?
I'm very interested.
Thanks all
