Possible work around:
***************************************************
From the build directory cd into $BUILD_DIR/multiping,
edit the multiping.c file and comment out the following
line:
/* Used to be conditional on AIX */
//# include <sys/select.h>

Run gmake from multiping's directory. The compile runs
clean.

Can anyone tell me if this is a viable solution or am I
breaking something else down the road?
