Did you try these suggestions?
if you've got still problems, please take a look at this:
Thanks a lot for your response.
The links resolve all my problem. Great!
I'm happy you solved your problem :)...could you tell me which link solved your problem? The RC 4.3-.NET-1.1 or the other links?
Hi, I got the same problems with the installations as thysa. For me
(installation for .NET 1.1) worked OK. I could not get it working no matter I did with .NET 2.0 on my Windows XP Prof SP-2, .NET 1.1 from Windows Update, .NET 2.0 from MS download area, MS Office Outlook 2003 11.8002.6568 SP.
Thanks for your efforts, Petri.
I'm glad that RC 4.3-.NET-1.1 works fine for all of you :))...I'll have to keep the two versions updated if I won't resolve this problem ;)
Did you try both the RC versions compiled against .NET framework 2? ...It's so strange they didn't work...
I tried both the versions, only RC 4.3-.NET-1.1 worked. I have both .NET 2.0 and .NET 1.1 installed.
The symptoms with RC 4.3 (.NET 2.0 version) were similar as explained in
(Although the above is for .NET 1.1).
This is the RC 4.3-.NET-1.1.
Thank you very much :)
you just made remember me something...is it possible that you aren't Admin on your machine? If so:
--log on as Admin
--Launch RC installer
--Select to install it for all the users in the machine...
Could be that? Or just keep RC 4.3-.NET-1.1 if you prefer ;)
I have Admin rights alright, but to make it sure:
- removed RC 4.3-.NET-1.1
- logged in as Administrator on local machine
- installed RC 4.3
- logged back in as me (on a Windows domain)
- Launched Outlook 2003, an empty menubar for RC
so installing for all users didn't work...did you try to open Outlook under admin login (if you're able to)?
Same thing for the Admin login on the local host using Outlook 2003: the RC menu bar was empty.
The .NET 1.1 version worked both for the Admin login (local account) and for my own, domain based login.
maybe an hope it's here...you'll have to wait still a bit :(
at the moment I TRIED (I don't know C++, and the Microsoft documentation it's...HORRIBLE...) to add a new C++ project which should help in loading correctly the plugin...however, this is present only for the .NET 2 version of RC...
Could you try it? I hope to add it also to the .NET 1.1 version in the future...
for everybody who COULDN'T install RC... could you try this?
I STRONGLY recommend to pass to the new version.
I downloaded the Remote Calendar, but don't know how to install the application on my VIsta Outlook 2007 PC? any Help?
