#57 Update port to brew ?

as of 7/23/2024 on MacOS Sonoma 14.5, there is a default perl version provided with brew package management system of version 5.38, but installing Gtk3 on this is almost impossibly complex.

Using ports, installs perl to /opt/local/bin/perl , and is version 5.34. The remotebox shebang line has to be modified according to the instructions .

The dependencies here are pretty complex for most people -- given that 'port' has fallen out of favor and I believe(?) most people are using brew now, is tehre a consideration to support brew instead of port ?
