That would seem a fairly obvious problem.  Since it is clearly
intentional that it be difficult to do what I'm doing, is there
another way I am supposed to be interacting with remmina to accomplish
this?

The passwords I'm using are good exactly one time.  They are only
temporarily stored, on an encrypted disk.  What's the 'right way' to
programatically initiate a remmina client?
