A new bug fix release of the Reminder-ng 0.3 series was released yesterday. This release of Reminder-ng features priorities for reminders. Other notable changes include:- Translations: - Italian translations (Antonino Arcudi) Bug-fixes: - Fix a lot of bugs in the way a user was notified of missed reminders - Fix a small memory bug in the open_reminder_database function - Fix some bugs in the error checks used when add a new reminder - Fix a segfault which occurred when the user was editing a reminder Improvements: - Make the user interfaces respect the GNOME HIG guidelines better - Add an error check to prevent users from adding a reminder which has an already existent alarm time - Do not allow users to add reminders without a reminder title - Do not disable the Edit button when the user selects an expired reminder, this never was a very useful "feature" - Seperate the code used to notify the user of an expired reminder into a new object called "ReminderUIAlarm" - Make the ReminderList API a bit more fail-safe I would like to apologize for the strange version number(where was 0.3 you'll wonder), the problem was that 0.3 was set to be released yesterday but due to the fact that the translations had not arrived yet and especially due to the emergence of a small nevertheless major bug. Hence I decided to leave 0.3 unannounced and step right on to 0.3.1 which has the updated translations and the bug fix. Hello Antonino, Just wanted you to know that I am going to be making a new release of Reminder-ng very soon(in fact it's all done) and that since I made quite a lot changes concerning the user interface in the new version; I would like to know if it would be possible for you to translate it to Italian again in about a day perhaps?
