[Releaseforge-user] Thanks for the excellent tool

Hi,

I just released MayaVi-1.5 using Releaseforge and it was a breeze
thanks to Releaseforge.  Thanks for an excellent product!  

I have one feature request.  When emailing or submitting news it
should be possible to import the text from a file.  I typically write
these in my favorite editor and keep them ready to upload.

The freshmeat release interface is a little surprising.  There is no
feedback that things succeeded at the end.  I looked at the site
(http://freshmeat.net/projects/mayavi) to check if the project's
branch was updated (to 1.5) but it was still set to the earlier
announcement (1.4).  I tried creating a new freshmeat release but then
it said there was a duplicate version string.  Indicating that the
submission did indeed happen.  Is this because the submission needs to
be reviewed by the freshmeat staff?  If that is the case, perhaps a
simple dialog explaining that might be handy.  Or maybe I did not RTFM
enough.

Anyway, thanks again for the excellent tool!
