have the possibility to move files between packages/releases

Hi,
before starting with the whining, I wanted to say that
releaseforge is perhaps the best idea since the
invention of the basket (it's the difference between
carrying one apple at a time and all together).
I recently created new packages in my project in order
to reorganize files already released, and I had to do
it through RFS, one by one, which was a pain (of
course, else you wouldn't have created releaseforge...).
Hence my request to have the possibility to move files
between packages and releases. This implies somehow
also the possibility to create a new release without
uploading right away files to this new release
(something currently impossible).
Thanks, Eric

I'm considering adding this feature but only if interest
still exists. I'd have to determine whether this feature
would be standalone or part of the "Edit Release" wizard.
That is, whether to add a new button/menu option to "Move
files between releases" (or similar) -or- add it to the
existing edit functionality as perhaps an "expert mode".
If this feature is desired please indicate so and your
preference for implementation.

Hi,
1. feature is desired :-)
2. I think that it would make sense to have a new button
called like "Move Files" next to the "Add Files" button in
the File Selection dialog you get when you create or edit a
release.
Or perhaps clearer for users:
Current dialog:
Select files to include in your new release [Add Files]
New dialog:
Select local files to include in your release [Add Files]
Move files from other releases into this one [Move Files]
The user could then click on the [Move Files] button, and he
would get a list of all files in all packages & releases in
the current project, and could select them for inclusion
into the "File Selection" dialog.
Does it make sense?
Thanks for your support, Eric
