Hi,

It's me again, reporting another bug. :)

when i submit project news using releaseforge, all the
linebreaks separating paragraphs are ignored, and the
whole news item is glommed into one large paragraph.
Have to go in manually and edit the news item through
the sf.net webpage, to make normal paragraphs.

Would it be possible to fix releaseforge so that news
item formatting is preserved? Or am I the only one
experiencing this bug?

Thanks for a great piece of software! :)

Just a note to say that the original submitter is not the
only one witnessing this bug - the same thing happened to me
    recently.

I'd also like to say 'Thanks for a great piece of software! :)'

Just an update here. This still happens with the most recent
    version of releaseforge (0.9.7).

Another update - this still happens with releaseforge 1.1
(installed from exe, on windows XP)

interestingly, when after noticing no linebreaks in news
display, you go to edit it using the sourceforge site, they
do appear in the edit box, and all you have to do is hit
submit, without any changes, and the linebreaks magically
    appear.

    strange stuff...

I just upgraded from Fedora Core 6 to Fedora Core 8 and this bug has disappeared. So not
surprisingly it wasn't a releaseforge issue after all. I recommend closing this bug report.
