RelaiXed2
is a high-end audio pre-amplifier for DIY hobbyists and audio enthousiasts. This sourceforge project is to develop and publish the embedded firmware for the PIC microcontroller in the Relaixed2 design. The main characteristics of the amplifier design are:

• Balanced (XLR) audio input and output connections, next to a few 'single ended' (cinch) input channels.
• Volume and balance control in 1dB steps through a sequence of resistors and relays for best sound quality.
• Operable through IR remote control

Firmware
The software on the embedded microcontroller can be updated through a USB link to their PC. The USB link is also used during software development to trace the microcontroller progress. All software is provided as open source, through this SourceForge website.
