Why You use Unix style access rights
(OwnerUser-OwnerGroup-Other) ?
present-day things _must_ used ACLs for access rights.

because Unix Style access rights are built into the filesystem,
since this rely's heavily on the filesystem, and not a running
daemon, it would be close to impossible to use a different acl
    unless the filesystem supported it.

Registry uses what is provided by the filesystem.
If your filesystem supports advanced ACLs, you can use it to
    set ACL to keys.

The permissions are provided by the filesystem.
If FS supports ACL, you can set them to keys.
