Regatta - Software for schools / News: Recent posts

Regatta, the teacher planning and administration tool for schools, today released the first production version of the system. It has been tested extensively in a couple of pilot projects and works great. It is currently available in the English and Dutch languages. The user manual is Dutch only. The systems management and development manual are English.

Today the Open team, a small group of proffesionals, has released the Regatta software for peer review and public scrutiny :-). The Regatta program aims to assist planners within schools with the planning and resource management of teachers, courses and budgets. This release includes budgetting tools and will soon (within 1 or 2 months time) be followed by a rc2, rc3 and final 1.0 release.

The Regatta software needs a MySQL or MaxDB database and a Tomcat Java servlet server.... read more

On February 1, the Regatta project will make its first release available. Come back soon!

Today the Regatta project started with its use of the Sourceforge website. In a short amount of time files will appear and a website will be made available.
