#93 Flashing Cursor when Booting a Linux Partition
I have an Intel Macbook, set up in what's probably a fairly common way: 4 primary partitions on a single drive - 1) EFI, 2) OSX, 3) Linux, 4) Swap. rEFIt shows the Linux partition, with the Tux icon so it clearly knows what's there, but when I choose to boot it, I get a flash of "screen mode changing" and a flashing cursor, nothing else.
I realise this sounds more like an issue on my Linux partition than with rEFIt, but I've run out of ideas there - I've tried both GRUB and LILO (within partition 3, not on the MBR) and nothing seems to result in a bootable configuration. Partition 3 is set as bootable in the MBR, and MBR/GPT are synched.
So in desperation, I turn to rEFIt's support! :) Has anyone had an issue like this before, and if so, how did you overcome it?
