#11 installing refit from live cd

Hi

I've recently installed linux on my macbook core 2 duo. I've removed osx since I pretend to use the laptop for linux-only related task. I was wondering how could I install refit now from the refix live cd, since I would like to have a better user interface for booting from cd and accessing the efi. I've downloaded the .cdr iso and burn it to a cd, but I couldn't find an option to install refit from there, and I can't find instructions on how to do so.
