I modified 3 source files to allow one to disable booting from external, optical, and internal devices from the conf file.

This simply prevents devices from being added to the bootable array, it does not prevent scanning for bootloaders on external/internal/optical devices.

This is a patch for the source. I'll also upload an updated refit.efi and refit.conf file.

Trying to integrate this now for the upcoming 0.11 release.

I went with a more flexible syntax for the configuration file, and added a few more options.

Here's the code change that went into the repository:
    http://refit.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/refit?view=rev&revision=396
And the change for the default configuration file:
    http://refit.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/refit?view=rev&revision=397

I'm going to release rEFIt 0.11 in a few days. It would be great if you could test the new binary (http://refit.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/*checkout*/refit/trunk/dist/efi/refit/refit.efi) to check if it really is backwards-compatible with your patched 0.10 version, and if the additional options are useful.
