When i try to boot ubuntu it hangs at the penguin icon... Just a penguin on a gray background and NO boot. After 1 hour... NO BOOT !!!!!!
What is this problem and how can i fix it ?
Same problem, but with 8.10 on a Santa Rosa MacBook.
Same problem here, macbook 4,1 will not start up bootable disks, not even through holding down alt/option or c at startup!
I know the cd drive and cd I am using are working properly, because I ran the livecd inside virtualbox in mac os, and it worked fine.
