#44 crash on reboot

After installing rEFIt on my Core2Duo MacBook Pro, my system always crashes on reboot from the Windows partition. After reboot, I hear the startup chime, the screen is black and the fan comes on and goes to high speed. If I power off, the system boots up correctly. This only occurs on the Windows side.

I can confirm that this also happens with Ubuntu Feisty 7.04 on both Mactel Minis (all (processor/etc) CD models) & a CD 2.16 Macbook Pro 15" using rEFIt v0.10 (& Bootcamp v1.4), the behaviour is exactly as described above. Although this does not appear to be a rEFIt bug, but rather an Apple hardware/bootcamp bug, as people have encountered exactly the same issue when just using Bootcamp (1.4 Beta) see:

In my own experience this never affects booting into OSX (which always works).
