refind does not show my bootable ubuntu installation usb

hello and thanks for your awesome software

im trying to install ubuntu along with my windows installation

i have first successfully made refind to boot on my computer, and it shows my windows installation.

all is well until...

however i cannot seem to get ubuntu installation usb to be detected from refind at all.

i have created this usb using rufus, formatted to fat32, and tried both mbr& gpt to no avail

fyi formatting to fat only seems to make refind hang on 'searching for efi' and corrupt the usb.

help is greatly appreciated!

Boot ubuntu installation usb directly.
Then install ubuntu.
Then use rEFInd to start the new ubuntu installation.

For rEFInd to boot the installation usb, it probably needs to be modified to understand the format of the installation usb.
