'No bootable device' problem when trying to dual boot Kali Linux with El Capitan

    I'm following this guide: http://docs.kali.org/installation/kali-linux-dual-boot-on-mac-hardware

I've got up to the point where I get into the rEFInd bootloader, I choose Kali Linux (which is my bootable USB), and it takes me to a black screen stating that there is no bootable device and to insert one and press any key. The USB is in my computer but it doesn't do anything. What could be the problem? I've tried different USBs and have got the same problem.

    I'm on a early 2011 Macbook Pro.

I figured it out. A DVD worked like the Kali said to use for my model. :P
