Not surprisingly, Windows Update fails to upgrade my Win 10 to Win 11 so I am left with the option of installing Win 11 direct from the iso. My concern is that the installer is going to overwrite my EFI partition and leave me "stranded" so that I'd need to boot from a bootable (linux) USB and re-do everything. Even then I don't trust I'd be able to recover everything.
Am I worrying unnecessarily? Is there anything I need to consider to make sure the install goes smoothly?
Current (applicable) setup:
HP Envy 360x
EFI - /dev/sda1
MS reserved - /dev/sda2
Windows - /dev/sda3
Zorin - /dev/sda7
Debian - /dev/nvme0n1p2
Thanks in advance!
