Hello,
I would like to know how I can remove completely rEfind and all its components from my PC.
In my PC I have installed Windows 7 on a SSD and Linux Mint 18.3 on another SSD, in a dual boot system.
The problem started when I upgraded LM 17.3 to the 18.3 versions. (the LM install program was not able to install the bootloader to the desired device)
After help from people in the LM forum, I was able to fix the problem. ( I had to disable secure boot, fast boot and CSM to being able to install Linux in UEFI mode and not in Legacy).
During the process of trying to fix the system, as suggested by someone, I installed rEFInd, but was not able to fix the problem.
After I was able to install Linux in UEFI mode, all went great.
Until I teried to boot Windows 7.
At that point I saw the rEFInd Boot Manager screen, and when choosing to boot W7, the boot remain stuck at Windows 7 "Starting Windows" screen.
I searched how to uninstall rEFInd and tried as suggested here : http://www.rodsbooks.com/refind/installing.html#uninstalling

But even after that, when I turn on the PC, I keep seeing the rEFInd Boot manager screen.
Can you tell me how I should do to remove this program ?
Right now I can only boot to Linux, and I can no longer boot in Windows 7.

Thank you
