Hi, I'm glad that rEFInd basically works on my machine! It successfully lists and loads both the macOS and Ubuntu Linux kernels that I have installed on my MacBook Air! However, there is an extra option to load "Preboot" macOS, which I would like to hide from the menu selection. How would I go about doing this?
I see some instructions in the rEFInd website documentation, but there is a lot of noise, and worse, the stuff about tags and NVRAM scares the shit out of me, like what? I don't want to brick my hardware! Is there a safer way to hide the "Preboot" option?

Worth knowing before hiding preboot that in case you activate Filevault to encrypt your HD only one Mac boot option will show up and that is the preboot one (which leads to login anyway).
